About Us
1907-​Imperial Valley Milling traces its roots to H.T. Messinger, an early pioneer who founded the first seed mill on the present Holtville, California site.
Our Company History
1946-W. Mace Williams and son Walter C. Williams acquired the company. Important crops were milo, flax, barley and soybeans.​
1986-Imperial Valley Milling Company is purchased by Bornt & Sons Incorporated.​
1999-Fred Fabre joins Imperial Valley Milling to start marketing products internationally. Imperial Valley Seeds is born, marketing non-dormant alfalfa seeds.
Fred Fabre develops new markets and expands the company's presence abroad as
Vice- President of International Sales.
2012-Imperial Valley Seeds joins the S&W Seed Company. Fred Fabre heads the International Marketing and Sales Division.
2013-Imperial Valley Seeds opens its new office in Old Sacramento. Fred Fabre operates the International Sales Division from the new location.
